Introduction

The boys volleyball program at Saint Ignatius competes in the Chicago Catholic League. Our program aims to mold student-athletes into exceptional volleyball players. We teach the game of volleyball while building core values: teamwork, integrity, discipline and friendship. Our players are expected to give their personal best at all times while working to achieve competitive greatness through hard work. Our season begins in early March and finishes with IHSA state playoffs in late May or early June.

The Team

The Saint Ignatius boys volleyball team is a Class 4A program that competes in the Chicago Catholic League. CCL Blue Division rivals Br. Rice, St. Rita and Loyola make it one of the strongest conferences in the state.

Tryout Information

Boys volleyball is a Spring sport that follows the IHSA start date calendar. Tryouts will be held in the Walsh Activity Center (3rd Floor Gym) on March 4th at 3:30 p.m. for 2019.
