Introduction

The Saint Ignatius Wolfpack baseball program will instill the needed qualities of faith, discipline, determination and commitment in each individual and focus those qualities into a philosophy of selflessness and giving to the school community and team in order to achieve excellence and build a foundation for lifelong success.

Last Season Recap

In 2010, the varsity baseball team posted a 20-14 record while competing in the Chicago Catholic League. Under Head Coach Sean O'Connor and Assistant Coaches Chris Stocker and Pat Fahey, the Pack picked up their third consecutive 20-win season. Seniors Jack Fischer (SS/RHP), Justin Meier (C), and John Reynolds (OF) were named to the All Catholic League team. Fischer and senior Matt Lynch led the Pack on the mound while Reynolds, Meier and senior Sean Brennan paced the offense throughout the year. Juniors Eric Jacobson and Bill Boyle were also strong contributors at the plate for the Pack.
