Dear Parents:
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. The Parent Organization supports the School’s
mission, provides a forum to communicate with school leaders and involves parents
more deeply in the School and the students’ education and life experiences. As parents
of a Saint Ignatius student, you are automatically members of the Organization,
and no additional fee or application is required.
At Parent Organization meetings, those in attendance plan and prepare events such
as the annual Mini Class Night, the Open House, the Junior Class Mass, and parent
service projects, are provided insight to other ongoing school-sponsored events
such as the annual Auction and receive presentations from current Saint Ignatius
faculty and staff. All parents are welcome and encouraged to come to every meeting,
whether or not they can make the first one. The meetings are a great venue to meet
other Saint Ignatius parents and to receive updates about the School and events,
as well as to volunteer a few hours of your time.
