Summer School

SUMMER PROGRAMS UPDATE

We are planning to offer in-person academic courses and athletic camps in the summer of 2021. Summer School courses are offered between June 14 - July 23.  

Registration is now open.

Important Dates

Summer School classes run for varying lengths between Monday, June 14th, 2021 and Friday, July 23rd, 2021. There will be no classes on Monday, July 5th, 2021.

Study Skills Workshop

This one-week workshop, conducted by the Guidance Department of Saint Ignatius, is designed to help students fine-tune and adapt their study skills to the high school environment and the Saint Ignatius College Prep curriculum. The workshop includes practical ideas for note-taking, time management, memory improvement, writing papers, test-taking, and building relationships. Students will learn how to integrate the use of the iPad into their daily academic routine, with an emphasis on organization, digital workflow for assignments, communication and digital note-taking. In addition to working with the Guidance Counselors, students will meet with faculty members from all academic departments who will conduct sessions on how to study effectively for each academic discipline.

  • Junior High Programs - A Taste of Saint Ignatius

    The academic program, now in its 21st year, is available for rising 7th and 8th grade students.

    Students will engage in thoughtful problem solving, discussion, and readings while at the direction of talented faculty members at Saint Ignatius.

    There are two three-week sessions offering a variety of options for the student.  All academic and other offerings as well as registration details can be found by clicking on "Saint Ignatius Summer Programs" link provided.

  • 9th Grade Summer Programs

    Academic courses at Saint Ignatius are reserved for our incoming Freshmen at Saint Ignatius.

    The academic courses offered in the summer give students an opportunity to prepare for high school at Saint Ignatius. Please note that several of the courses are offered through invitation only.

  • 10th-12th Grade Summer Programs

    The academic summer offerings for rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors allow an opportunity for students to focus on skills in preparation for future classes, accelerate into an advance class or develop skills needed to succeed in a specific course.
