Middle School Model United Nations Conference hosted by the Saint Ignatius Model United Nations Team. Come discover the excitement of international diplomacy!
 
The internationally recognized SIMUN team would like to offer middle school students the opportunity to engage in highly interactive diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership. Students do not need any experience to participate. The committees and country positions will be assigned on the day of the conference. SIMUN students will chair each committee and help delegates with preparation.

You may register as an individual. There is no charge for participation. No experience or preparation required. Lunch is included.

Model United Nations is an activity that engages students in simulations of the work of the United Nations and other international organizations like NATO, the EU, and the African Union by representing countries, debating issues, and negotiating solutions to the most pressing problems of the day. Model United Nations conferences are hosted by high schools and universities throughout the United States and the world.

The SIMUN team is ranked in the top ten Model UN programs in the country. SIMUN has won numerous awards at conferences hosted by Columbia University, Georgetown University, Boston College, Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Notre Dame, Washington University in St. Louis, the College of William and Mary, the University of Illinois, Duke University, Florida International University, and the University of California at Berkeley. In addition, SIMUN has been named "Best Delegation" at international conferences held in Russia, China, Germany, and Netherlands.
