TEILHARD: Visionary Scientist Screening

Monday, July 29
Saint Ignatius College Prep - McLaughlin Theatre

Come meet filmmakers Frank and Mary Frost for a screening of their PBS documentary on the visionary Jesuit scientist Teilhard de Chardin, S.J. (1881-1955). Beautifully shot on location in France, China, England and the United States, the film is “a captivating human story (Indiana Jones meets Galileo)” that explores the life and ideas of the Jesuit paleontologist and philosopher.

For Frank Frost, the screening of “Teilhard: Visionary Scientist” in the McLaughlin Theatre is a homecoming. As a Jesuit scholastic he lived in the “Faculty Building” at 1076 W. Roosevelt Road and founded the Film Makers club in 1966, in addition to teaching English I and II and serving as assistant director of the Harlequins.
