Evanston Edges Pack in Final Game

The Wolfpack ended the season with an excellent game, but a tough 3-2 loss to Evanston. The Wolfpack scored first when Camille Moroney sent an arcing ball into the box and Adriana Parial finished cleanly. Evanston responded with a goal of their own, but then Sienna Rezza put the Wolfpack ahead off an assist by Mia Fojtik. The game went back and forth in the second half, with the Wolfpack unable to capitalized on a few breakaway opportunities. Evanston tied the game with 13 minutes left. Sadly, with 37 seconds left in the game, Evanston launched a dangerous ball into the box off a cornerkick. A scrum around the goalkeeper made it difficult to ascertain the outcome. The referees called a goal despite protests from the Wolfpack defense. The Wolfpack end the season with a respectable 9-6-2 record.
