Long Ball Propels Wolfpack

The Wolfpack took the lead for good in the bottom of the fifth thanks to home runs by Sydney Heathfield and Leighton Malec to defeat ICCP 3-2. Sydney Heathfield, Evelyn DeLeeuw, Betty Somers and Leighton Malec (1 for 2, 2 RBI's) each collected one hit for the Wolfpack. Betty Somers stole two bases as the Pack defense was sure-handed with no errors on the day. Tess Connelly earned the win pitching for the Wolfpack.
