Pack Win Opener of Double Header

Hazel Shields drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Wolfpack past Evanston Wildkits 9-2 on Saturday at Evanston. Hazel Shields was the game winning pitcher striking out 15 batters on the day. The starter also gave up three hits and two runs over seven innings while walking two. Evelyn DeLeeuw tripled, scoring three runs. Hazel Shields homered, scoring two runs. Evelyn DeLeeuw and Hazel Shields each collected two hits for the Wolfpack.
