JV and FR-SO Win MCAC Championships!!!

The JV team finished second in the team standing and were led by double event winner Kirkland Miller (200 free / 100 free). Katharine Gilardi too the conference title in the 100 back. Miller teamed up with Jillian Crocker, Ruby Hodges and Ana Trice to cap off the meet with a win in the 400 free relay. Top 8 performances include the ‘A’ 200 medley relay (Gilardi, Alondra Torres, Trice, Lexi Jordan), the ‘B’ 200 medley relay (Sadie Ward, Regina Torres, Eloise Seymour, Tori Garascia), Jillian Crocker (200 free / 500 free), A. Torres (50 free / 100 breast), Hodges (50 free / 100 fly), Ward (50 free / 100 back), Jordan (50 free / 500 free), Trice (100 fly), Seymour (100 fly / 100 back), Gilardi (100 free), the ‘A’ 200 free relay (Miller, Hodges, Gilardi, Crocker) and the ‘B’ 200 free relay (R. Torres, A. Torres, Ale Velazquez, Katie Lannon), Garascia (100 back), R. Torres (100 breast) and the ‘B’ 400 free relay (Jordan, Wood, Seymour, Garascia). The Fr/So team won the conference meet for the seventh time in school history. Maeve Shannon was named Fr/So conference swimmer of the year for winning the 200 and 100 free and anchoring both winning freestyle relays. Eloise Guth was conference champion in the 500 free. The Pack won both free relays with Franchesca Sanchez, Madi Manning, Angela Wideikis and Shannon winning the 200 and Sanchez, Margaret Hickey, Guth and Shannon winning the 400. Runner up performances were turned in by the ‘A’ 200 Medley Relay (Caroline Welch, Wideikis, Manning), Sanchez (200 free / 100 fly), Hickey (500 free), Alexis Nelson (1M Diving). Top 8 performances include Stella Kinander (1M Diving), the ‘B’ 200 medley relay (Annmarie Drapszo, Peyton Davidson, Betty Johnston, Guth), Welch (200 IM / 100 breast), Davidson (200 IM), Manning (50 free / 100 free), Johnston (50 free / 100 fly), Hickey (100 fly), Wideikis (100 free / 100 breast), the ‘B’ 200 free relay (Davidson, Drapszo, Welch, Johnston) and Guth (100 back).
