IHSA Sectional Champions!!!

The Wolfpack captured their 19th IHSA Sectional Championship on Saturday leading wire to wire. The Pack won 9 of the 12 events including a sweep of the relays. Julieta Tracy was a double event winner taking home sectional titles in the 200 IM and 100 free. Aisling Crowley advanced to the state meet for the second year in a row with a win in the 1M Diving. Jasmine Morgan (50 free), Maya Arroyo (100 fly) and Jilly MacNamara (100 back) were all sectional championship and moving on to state in their individual races. MacNamara dipped under the state cut in the 500 free finishing second. The Pack took the top spot in all 3 relays to advance to state in each: 200 medley – Jilly MacNamara, Jasmine Morgan, Maya Arroyo and Liepa Niaura 200 free – Liepa Niaura, Jasmine Morgan, Maya Arroyo, Julieta Tracy 400 Free – Jasmine Morgan, Liepa Niaura, Maya Arroyo, Julieta Tracy Top 6 (All-Sectional) performances were tuned in by Alexis Nelson (3rd 1M Diving), Sarah Hunneke (3rd 200 free), Maeve Shannon (4th 200 free), Collee Tracy (2nd 200 IM, 3rd 500 free), Franchesa Sanchez (2nd 50 free, 3rd 100 fly), Liepa Niaura (3rd 100 free), Caley Mitchell (4th 100 back), Caroline Welch (3rd 100 breast) and Angela Wideikis (5th 100 breast).
