Wolfpack Offense Sparks Win
The Pack defeated Aurora Central Catholic 12-3 on Thursday. Leading Ignatius was Joe Toney who had three hits, two RBI, and a stolen base, and pitched a shutout inning to finish the game. John Kourelis had two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Jacob Jelinek and Will Barnett drove in two runs each. Alec McAfee picked up his first varsity win on the mound in relief.Read More -
Pack Comeback to Top Huntley
The Wolfpack defeated Huntley 7-6 on Saturday. Ignatius scored five in top of sixth to tie game with two-run doubles by Alec Gunderson and Josh Gutierrez and one in top of seventh for the go-ahead RBI single by Ben Marasovich. Pack Defeat Amundsen
The Wolfpack defeated Amundsen 4-2 on Saturday. Daniel Johnson (2-0), was the winning pitcher going 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 strikeouts. Will Barnett recorded the save and was 2-2 at the plate. Jacob Jelinek had two hits and an RBI. Owen Walsh doubled, drew a walk and drove in a run.Read More -
Friars Edge Wolfpack
The Wolfpack lost to the Friars of Fenwick 6-5 at home. Matt Richert struck out six in 4 1/3 innings pitched. Declan Boyle was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI while Jacob Jelinek was 2-3 with a double, walk, and one RBI.Read More -
Lane Tech Tops Pack
The Wolfpack fell to Lane Tech in an offensive battle 19-11. Josh Gutierrez and Jacob Jelinek both hit three-run home runs. Jelinek reached base three times and was also was hit by a pitch twice. Joseph Toney was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI as well.Read More
