Coach Kevin Beck took over the Saint Ignatius College Prep Girls Golf program in 2018 after two seasons coaching freshman football. Since then, his Wolfpack teams have won two regional championships in 2019 and 2021; they’ve finished runner-up three times in the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference – 2019, 2021, 2022; and they’ve had one individual state qualifier. In addition to coaching at Saint Ignatius, Beck works in the Dean’s Office.

Chough Battled at IHSA State Finals
Sophomore Clara Chough represented the Wolfpack in Decatur at the IHSA State Finals at Hickory Point Golf Course. Playing in very difficult conditions, Clara battled the rain and cold to post a score of 93 in Friday's round. Clara will have a great opportunity to make it back to the IHSA State Finals in her Junior season.Read More -
Chough Heading to State Finals
Ignatius finished in 8th place in a tightly contested IHSA Sectional at Carriage Greens. Sophomore Clara Chough (80), led the Wolfpack playing a fantastic round, individually qualifying for the IHSA State Finals. Maggie Helms (85), Caroline Leavy (90), and Isabella Lam (95) rounded out the scoring. Caroline Hull (103) and Maddie Lezotte (107) also played for the Pack. Wolfpack Advance to IHSA Sectional
Ignatius advanced after taking 3rd place at their IHSA Regional at Indian Boundary. Maggie Helms (78) led the Wolfpack, finishing in 2nd place individually after an exciting 2 hole sudden death playoff for medalist honors. Caroline Leavy (84), Clara Chough (88), Caroline Hull (98), Maddie Lezotte (98), and Isabella Lam (100) rounded out the scores for Ignatius. Ignatius finished in 4th place at the OPRF Huskie Invite at Indian Boundary with a great team effort. Maggie Helms (79) led the Wolfpack, finishing 9th place individually to earn a medal. Ignatius finished in 5th place at the GCAC Championships. Maggie Helms (84) led the Wolfpack, earning all-conference honors for the third consecutive season. Ignatius finished in 6th place in the silver division, and 17th place overall at the Celtic Swing Invite at Green Garden. Sophomore Clara Chough (89) had the low round for the Wolfpack.
