Wolfpack Win Silver at Bulldog Invite

The Wolfpack (10-17 overall) went 2-2 at the Richards Bulldog Invite this weekend to win the Silver Division. After two tough losses on Friday to Wheaton-Warrenville South (25-13, 25-15) and Hinsdale South (25-13, 25-11). The Pack rebounded to defeat Richards (27-29, 25-16, 15-7) and Naperville Central (25-20, 21-25, 21-19) on Saturday morning. The Pack was led by senior's Paul Karounos (28 kills, 2 blocks) and Ian Burke (17 kills, 8 blocks). Ryan Breen ended the invite with 64 assists and 28 digs as Charlie Wangard anchored the defense with 40 digs. Jackson Blackwell (20 digs), Diego Ogren (7 kills, 3 aces, 3 blocks) and Danny McMahon (3 kills, 5 blocks) stepped up big on Saturday as well.
