Wolfpack Cruise Over Nazareth

The Wolfpack took on Nazareth this past Friday and cruised to a 2-0 lead at half time, playing a calm and focused game.  The Pack scored two more in the second half for a final of 4-1.  The defenders played a great game with center back Emma Penner shutting down 6' Naz striker Olivia Austin, who came into the game with 18 goals and 10 assists.  Carmella O'Malley, Izzy Radecki, Lucy Schmidt and Lily Schwartz along with keepers MC Galante and Ava Stern comprised the rest of the defense, and their ability to read the play and shut down the attack was nearly flawless.  In the midfield, Olivia Hanna had some fantastic attacks up the flank, keeping the team on their front foot.   She scored, along with Kayla Washington and two for Lili Garcia.
