Wolfpack Win Title at Brenda Whitesell Thanksgiving Invite!

The Wolfpack took the Brenda Whitesell Thanksgiving Invitational Title with a 61-54 win over Stagg, it is their third consecutive title. The Pack took down OPRF, Addison Trail, Sandburg and Stagg to claim the title this year. Against Addison Trail, Junior Rhema Ogele recorded 6 blocks, 13 rebounds and 7 points to lead the Pack to 47-24 win.  Junior Lauren McDonald was the leading scorer for the Pack with 12 points. The Pack played a strong Sandburg team in the semi-finals and came out with a 52-48 win.  Freshman Maureen Regan recorded a big steal and finish to put the game out of reach as the game ended.  Lauren McDonald continued to fill her stat sheet with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists against the Eagles. In the title game, Junior Lauren McDonald led the pack with 18 points. Senior Paige Gross chipped in 13 points, 7 from the charity stripe. Junior Rhema Ogele had a double double with 12 points and 15 rebounds.  Junior Leah Poorman was also a force on the boards, with 10 rebounds. The Wolfpack improves to 4-1 on the year and looks to keep the win streak alive against Jones College Prep, on Tuesday.
