Pack Win Opening Invite in Wisconsin

The Wolfpack routed the competition at the season opener, Ike Invitational, in New Berlin, WI. Senior Aisling Crowley, Freshmen Caitlin Seder, and Sophomore Alexis Nelson swept the 11 dive competition. Sophomore Delaney Brown won the 6 dive competition. The 200 Medley Relay team of Senior Captain Jilly MacNamara, Freshmen Mariposa Arroyo, Sophomore Colleen Tracy, and Sophomore Franchesca Sanchez won the event by almost 6 seconds. MacNamara would join sophomore Liepa Niaura to take second and third place in the 200 free and later first and second in the 100 back. Tracy and Freshman Livia Cremer swept the 200 IM. Tracy later scored third in the 100 freestyle. Senior Captain Maya Arroyo won the 50 free and 100 fly and was joined by Niaura, Sanchez, and Tracy to win the 200 free relay. Freshman Mariposa Arroyo was a double event winner in the 500 free and 100 breaststroke. In the final event of the invitational, the 400 freestyle relay, the wolfpack swept 1-2 with the relay team of Niaura, Arroyo, Cremer, and MacNamara winning the event. Saint Ignatius wins with a commanding 647 points with the next competitor at 264.
