Big Score Leads Pack to Championship

The Wolfpack scored big at the Friar Invite at Fenwick. Senior Aisling Crowley won the diving competition with a new personal best score of 427.90 with Freshman Caitlin Seder placing fourth with a score of 359.15. Freshman Chayse Massimino was sixth in the 200 freestyle with a season best time. Freshman Livia Cremer and Sophomore Colleen Tracy swept the 200 IM. The duo also scored big in their second events, Tracy with a runner-up in the 100 freestyle and Cremer fifth in the 100 breast. Senior Captain Maya Arroyo won the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly with season best times. Senior Captain Jilly MacNamara placed third in the 500 freestyle and won the 100 backstroke. Freshman Mariposa Arroyo was fourth in the 500 freestyle and 7th in the 100 breaststroke. Sophomore Liepa Niara, who was a key leg in all three relays, was second in the 100 backstroke with a season best. Wolfpack Relays won the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay and third place in the 200 freestyle relay. Saint Ignatius won the invite and will race at the Rosary Invite next week.
