Crowley Breaks School Record; Pack Places 5th at Sandburg

The Wolfpack had a split weekend at the Rosary and Sandburg Invitationals. The Friday diving competition ended with a Wolfpack win for Aisling Crowley with a new season best score of 440.70 and new school record! She bests the 435.55 score by Ellie Lennon from 2019. 200 Medley Team of Senior Captain Katharine Gilardi, Juniors Peyton Davidson and Madi Manning, and Sophomore Betty Johnston placed ninth overall. Junior Eloise Guth was eleventh in the 200 freestyle and thirteenth in the 100 butterfly. Senior Gabby Veliz was thirteenth in the 200 IM and eighth in the 500 freestyle. Junior Peyton Davidson was sixteenth in the 200 IM and twelfth in the 100 breaststroke. Junior Madi Manning had a pair of top eight finishes with a dual fifth place in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Sophomore Betty Johnston followed suit in the top sixteen finishes with a dual twelfth place finish in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Eloise Guth, Junior Annmarie Drapszo, Gabby Veliz, and Senior Jillian Crocker placed eighth overall. 400 Freestyle Team of Sasha Weffer, Gabby Veliz, Betty Johnston, and Madi Manning placed seventh to close out the meet. Saint Ignatius College Prep finish fifth in the team standings. The Wolfpack rallies for the Fremd Invitational on September 30.
