Deerfield Ends Wolfpack Run

The Wolfpack (20-7 overall) placed 2nd at the Lake Forest Invite on Saturday after five matches. The Pack defeated Mundeline 25-14, 25-17, Lakes 25-19, 19-25, 15-9 and Lake Forest 25-10, 25-17 in pool play. In bracket play, the Wolfpack topped Carmel 25-18, 25-18 for their 12th win in a row. In the championship match, Deerfield brought the win streak to a close with a 25-21, 25-23 win over the Pack. Audrey Schabes and Skylar Greene were both named to the All-Tournament team. The Pack secured the #2 seed in the IHSA Sectional as they now get ready for the state playoffs.
