Wolfpack Advance to Sweet 16

The Wolfpack (23-9 overall) is headed to the Sweet 16 after a 25-20, 25-22 win over DePaul Prep at home Monday night in the IHSA Sectional Semi-Final. The Wolfpack was down early in both sets but used late rallies to take down the Rams. Skylar Greene led the Wolfpack offense again, hitting .333 with 9 kills while Sydney DeProfio added 18 assists, 5 kills and 9 digs. Marin Thaxton (8 kills, 2 aces), Mariella Ciaravino (7 kills, 11 digs) and Ellie Kowalski (12 digs) anchored the Pack serve receive as the Wolfpack passed a 2.24. The Pack will face De La Salle on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the IHSA Sectional Final at home.
