IHSA Sectional Champions!!!

The Wolfpack (24-9 overall) won their 6th IHSA Sectional at home on Wednesday night in front of a huge crowd. The Pack defeated the Meteors of De La Salle 25-21, 25-20 to move on to the Elite 8 against St. Laurence. Sydney DeProfio (12 assists) and Audrey Schabes (14 assists) ran the Pack offense as they exploded for 32 team kills on the night. DeProfio added 7 of those kills with no errors hitting .412% to lead the Pack. Skylar Greene had another big offensive night with 10 kills and 2 blocks while Marin Thaxton added 8 kills. Thaxton anchored the Pack serve receive as she passed a 2.25 on 25 attempts. Gabby Williams chipped in 3 blocks as Ignatius will get set to take on St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m. at Little Village on Friday for a chance to go to the IHSA State Finals.
