Wolfpack Fall to Lincoln; Play for 3rd Saturday

The Wolfpack (25-10 overall) fell to Lincoln at the IHSA State Semi-Finals 27-25, 20-25, 20-25 in an incredible match. In set one, the Pack was down 23-16 and out of timeouts. A major spark from Olivia Daszynski (2 kills, 1 ace) started a 6-0 run for the Wolfpack. After a point by Lincoln, the Pack would again go on a 4-0 run to steal the set. Lincoln's offense would prove to be too tough as they would take the next two sets. Sydney DeProfio (1 ace, 17 assists, 18 digs and 9 kills) led the Wolfpack as Skylar Greene (12 kills), Ellie Kowalski (25 digs, 2.27% passing), Mariella Ciaravino (15 digs, 2.56% passing) and Maggie Rankin (4 kills, 2 blocks) chipped in. Posting double-doubles for the Pack was Audrey Schabes (18 assists, 10 digs) and Marin Thaxton (11 kills, 16 digs)!
