Huskies Late Goal Ties Pack

In the final regular season game against OPRF, the Wolfpack rallied from a very early goal by OPRF to tie the game in the first half, and then taking the lead 2-1 going into the final 20 minutes of the game.  Ignatius looked great out-playing the Huskies for most of the contest, but ended up giving up a tying goal late in the second half for a 2-2 final. Special recognition to Kayla Washington who didn't start the game because she was under the weather but brushed aside her discomfort and entered the game, scoring the first goal for the Wolfpack. The second goal came from Lili Garcia who has been on a scoring streak over the last few games. Overall, the team showed how far they have come this season.  After struggling in the first few weeks taking on top 3A schools, they have only gotten stronger and this game against a much larger 3A program told a different story.  The Wolfpack has come a long way since early March, and they are primed for success in the playoffs.
