Coach Justin Fernandez is building on his service to the Wolfpack. The head coach for Saint Ignatius College Prep Boys Swimming and Diving is taking on Girls Swimming and Diving, too. In the time Fernandez has been involved in Saint Ignatius Aquatics, he’s produced multiple MCAC Champions, IHSA Sectional Champs, IHSA State Finalists, and NISCA All-Americans.
Coach Fernandez, a native of Chicago, swam collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 2013-2017 and served as team captain.

Wolfpack Place 10th at IHSA State Finals!
The Pack wrapped up their season with a 10th place team finish at the IHSA State Championships this past weekend. Abbey Taute posted the highest individual finishes tying for 4th in the 200 free and taking 5th in the 500 free. The 500 free is a new school record and All-American standard. Kira Tiv finished 9th in the 100 fly with a new school record and Julieta Tracy finished 9th in the 100 free. The 400 free relay foursome of Summer Brainin, Tiv, Madison Schiml and Tracy finished 6th earning All-American honors and establishing a new school record. The 200 free relay team of Brainin, Tiv, Tracy and Schiml took 9th and also broke a new team record. All top 12 performances earned All-State status. The 200 medley relay team of Tracy, Schiml, Tiv and Brainin finished 15th. Piper Wood Prince had a pair of 15th place finishes in the 200 free / 500 free. Summer Brainin was 15th in the 50 free. Ellie Lennon was 18th in the 1M diving. Madison Schiml finished 19th in the 200 IM. Madi Szymanski was 31st in the 200 IM and 38th in the 100 free. IHSA Sectional Champions!!!
The Wolfpack captured their 16th IHSA Sectional Championship on Saturday with a great team performance and qualifying 9 for the state meet. The Pack broke 9 varsity and 2 fr/so school records as well as establishing 7 new meet records and earning All-American performances in all 3 relays as well as Abbey Taute in the 200 free. Ellie Lennon opened the meet with a dominating diving performance breaking the school record. The medley relay team of Julieta Tracy, Madison Schiml, Kira Tiv and Summer Brainin shattered the school record in taking the top spot. Abbey Taute and Piper Wood Prince had a 1-2 finish in both the 200 and 500 free locking in stat births with Taute picking up a new team record in the 200 free. Madison Schiml and Madi Szymanski followed suit with a 1-2 finish in the 200 IM both securing state births. Summer Brainin finished 2nd in the 50 free setting a new school record and qualified for state along with Jasmine Morgan who dipped under the cut as well. Kira Tiv took the top spot in the 100 fly in a new school record. Julieta Tracy broke a 7-year-old school record in the 100 free to take top honors and will be joined at state by Madi Szymanski who picked up the state time with her 4th place finish. The Pack relays capped off the meet with new meet and school records in both (Tracy, Brainin, Tiv, Schiml). Deniz Yardimici (100 back) and Fiona Connors (100 breast) had runner up performances to make the All-Sectional Team. Delany Spearing finished 6th in the 100 back, Annie Egan was 7th in the 100 breast and Kiley Del Giudice was 8th in th in the 1M Diving.Read More -
Pack MCAC Champions!!! First in School History!!!
The Pack led wire to wire to grab their first ever MCAC championship. The Pack took first in 6 events and second in 6. Abbey Taute took top honors in the 200 free along with a runner up finish in the 100 back. Julieta Tracy won the 200 IM setting a new meet record and was second in the 100 free. Kira Tiv was victorious in the 100 fly and was 4th in the 50 free. Piper Wood Prince grabbed the top spot in the 500 free along with a runner up performance in the 200 free. Tracy, Summer Brainin, Wood Prince and Madison Schiml won the 200 free relay and the foursome of Taute, Brainin, Tiv and Tracy capped off the meet with an exciting come from behind win. Runner-up performances include the 200 medley relay team of Taute, Schiml, Tiv, Brainin, Ellie Lennon in the 1M Diving and Brainin in the 50 free. Top 8 performances include Kiley Del Giudice (1M Diving), Schiml (200 IM / 100 breast), Kathleen Walsh (100 fly), Delaney Spearing (100 free), Bryce Searing (500 free) and Annie Egan (100 breast). Ellie Lennon, Abbey Taute, Madison Schiml, Kira Tiv, Summer Brainin, Piper Wood Prince, Julieta Tracy, Bryce Spearing received All-MCAC honors.
