The goal of the coaching staff is to create a fun, hard-working and winning atmosphere that values dedication, sportsmanship, and determination. During the season, the coaches will expect the following from team members: 100% participation in practice and match obligations, demonstration of proper respect and behavior at all times and proper management of academic responsibilities. Players will need to plan other obligations around their tennis commitments. Players and families can expect clear communication and complete dedication from the coaching staff.
After beginning as an assistant coach in 2019, Daniel Lee took charge of the Saint Ignatius College Prep Boys and Girls Tennis teams. During his tenure, he’s helped numerous singles and doubles players qualify for the IHSA State Finals. The girls won an IHSA Sectional title, and the boys clinched a CCL Championship. Coach Lee also led the boys doubles team to a fifth place finish at the IHSA State Finals in 2023.

Nikolic Makes IHSA Finals
The Wolfpack competed in the Oak Park River Forest IHSA Sectional on Friday night. After a very long day, Senior Marko Nikolic, the #3 seed, made it to the semi-finals and qualified for IHSA State Finals that begin next Thursday, May 23rd. U-High Edges Pack
The Wolfpack lost to U-High 3-2. Leading Ignatius was the #1 Doubles pair of Thomas Cilella and Cyrus Darki pulled off an impressive win of 7-5, 6-4 over an extremely tough team. Also grabbing a win was the #3 Doubles pair of Wyatt Buquid and Connor Mangone also recorded a hard fought win in a match that went to a 3rd set tiebreaker 7-5, 2-6, 10-8.Read More -
Pack Place 2nd at CCL Championhips
The Wolfpack placed 2nd at the CCL Championships this past weekend. Noah Phocas, Junior, had a hard fought battle in the quarter finals, and prevailed at the end to win it in a tiebreak 10-5 which placed him in 2nd place at #2 Singles. All the doubles teams, Freshman duo of Tommy Cilella and Cyrus Darki, at #1 doubles, Senior Nate Kye and Freshman Nicolas Caicedo, at #2nd doubles, Senior Wyatt Buquid and Junior Connor Mangone, all made it to the finals but could not secure a win and end the tournament at 2nd place.Read More -

The Wolfpack faced some tough competition at an invitational hosted by St. Charles North and Hersey. The Pack fought hard for each point, game, set, and match! This will be a good test for the Wolfpack halfway through the season and will serve as motivation to finish the season strong.
