IHSA Sectional Champions!!!

The Wolfpack won the 2026 IHSA Sectional Championship! This victory marks the fifth consecutive sectional title by the Wolfpack. The diving duo of Junior Connor Gunderson and Sophomore Leo Fallara kicked off the competition with the 1m 11-dive competition. Fallara took fifth with a personal best, and Gunderson won with a new school record of 511.00. Medley relay team of Junior Charlie Cali, Sophomore Andrew Arreola, Freshman Grant Robinson, and Senior Captain Carmine Fallara placed third in the 200 Medley Relay. Senior Captain Alistair Guth and Cali swept the 200 freestyle. Fallara and Arreola placed second and third in the 200 IM. Scott won the 50 freestyle with Junior Christian Chora placing tenth. Scott and Robinson swept the 100 butterfly, claiming the top two spots. Guth and Arreola followed suit by placing first and second in the 100 freestyle. Cali and fellow Junior Lincoln Routier placed second and third in the 500 freestyle. Relay team of Fallara, Guth, Scott, and Robinson won the 200 free relay. Routier and Freshman Max Grieb placed fourth and seventh in the 100 backstroke. Fallara established a new meet record in his 100 breaststroke victory, with Robinson placing fifth. Relay Team of Cali, Guth, Arreola, and Scott finished off the meet with a win in the 400 freestyle relay. The Wolfpack will advance to the IHSA State Championships starting Friday, 2/27, at FMC Natatorium.
