IHSA Sectional Champions!!!

The Wolfpack repeated as IHSA Sectional champions in the 18-team meet scoring 176 points outpacing second-place by over 60 points. Ignatius advanced to the IHSA State Finals in 11 of the 18 events. Field event qualifiers were Sadie McGuire (Shot Put), Ivie Ehimwenman (Long Jump) and Chika Ezike (High Jump). Maliyah Miller (100, 200, 400) and Annika Swan (800, 1600) won their events. One-two Wolfpack finishes earned Ezike (200), Gabriella Duque (800) and Elle Sheaffer (1600) spots at State as well. The 4x800 Relay (Greta Sheaffer, Rory Steinhofer, Molly Malloy, Elle Sheaffer), the 4x200 Relay (Caroline McCann, Ezike, Ehimwenman, Josie Borkowski) and the 4x400 Relay (Cate Crowley, Rose Cummings, Duque, Swan) also qualified for State with top-two finishes.
