Loyola Slips Past Pack in Tight Game

Taking on rival Loyola Academy on Tuesday, the Wolfpack was going for the win in a very close game.  The score was 0-0 at half time but Loyola managed to slip a goal past Keeper MC Galante in the second half.  Despite significant pressure by the Pack, the score remained 1-0 at the end of the game.  The backline of Lauren Reed, Izzy Radecki, Maggie Helms, Lucy Schwartz, Carmella O'Malley and Chessie Besztery really stepped up against a very talented opponent.  It was a solid team effort and one of the better outcomes in recent times against Loyola. Especially outstanding was the work by Division I bound keeper MC Galante, who had 6 saves on 7 shots, each more acrobatic than the last.
