Roadrunners to Slow for Wolfpack

The Wolfpack earned their 12th win of the season with a 2-0 win over visiting Nazareth. After a slow start, the offense began to heat up in the last 15 minutes of the first half, creating several quality opportunities on goal including one that banged off the top bar. In the second half, Sarah McDonald found the net first on a solo strike to the lower left corner. With under 5 minutes to go, Norah Thome playing from a center defensive mid position laced a ball on the ground to beat a diving keeper to add some insurance.
