The Wolfpack opened the season with a victory over DePaul Prep 41-0. Vinny Rugai gained 71 yards on 7 carries, rushing for 2 TDs and pulling in 1 TD reception. Coley McDonagh put up 40 yards in the air, completing 2 TD receptions and adding 1 TD on the ground. Tony Tirado grabbed 1 TD reception. Tommy Bloss rushed for 1 TD. Owen Kyhl added to the offensive onslaught with 6 carries for 32 yards. The defensive shutout was led by John Kemp, Jake Rothgery, Charlie Wolf, and Tore Indomenico as they racked up 4 tackles apiece. Aidan Dobell and Liam Stewart piled on 3-tackle performances along with Mateo Jones and Nikolas Beltz – who each nabbed interceptions.
