Junior Isaac Rice was a triple event winner for the Wolfpack at its 8th and final home invitational on Wednesday, winning the 100-meters (11.16 seconds) and 200-meters (22.73) in personal best times, as well as the long jump (6.28 meters, 20 feet and 7 inches). The Wolfpack won the meet with 183 points, defeating Fenwick (103), North Shore Country Day (103), University High (81), Mt. Carmel (27.5), Kenwood (18.5), and Jones (10). Other event winners: senior Malcolm Bevans in triple jump (14.35m, 47-00.75), junior Zach Kiley in pole vault (3.04m, 10-00), junior Sam Hansen (1.68m, 5-06), junior Damian Lassak in shot put (12.5m, 41-00 Personal Best), junior Henry Gilbert in 800 (2:08.56), junior Mark Williams in 400m (54.78 Personal Best), and junior Declan Glaysher in 3200m (11:01.71). “We’ve been the host for ten of these meets this year with the girls team, and, frankly, we’re exchausted!” said coach Ed Ernst. “But our guys are performing well as we head to the end of our season for the Catholic League championships and the state championship series.”
