Girls Swimming & Diving Wins Sectional

The girls swimming and diving team captured their 17th consecutive IHSA sectional title on Saturday and qualified 8 to the state meet this coming weekend.
The Pack qualified all 3 relays along with 11 individual performances.  Four new school records and two meet records were established.  Individual sectional champs include Julieta Tracy (200 IM / 100 free), Maya Arroyo (100 fly), Piper Wood Prince (500 free) and Jilly MacNamara (100 back).  Winning relays include the 200 Free (Brooke Mahneke, Jasmine Morgan, Wood Prince, Tracy) and the 400 Free (Arroyo, Mahneke, Wood Prince, Tracy).  Runner up performances include the 200 Medley Relay (MacNamara, Morgan, Arroyo, Mahneke), Wood Prince (200 free) and Arroyo (200 IM).
All-Sectional members also include  Aisling Crowley (3rd 1M Diving), Sarah Hunneke (5th 200 free), Jasmine Morgan (3rd 50 free), Elise Bulman (4th 100 fly), Brooke Mahneke (4th 100 free), Jilly MacNamara (3rd 500 free), Deniz Yardimci (4th 100 back) and Jasmine Morgan (5th 100 breast).  Additional point scorers include Gigi Garner (11th 1M Diving), Yardimci (7th 50 free) and Joanna Gould (9th 100 breast).
