That little stretch of time probably seemed like an eternity when, as freshmen, you received a warm Saint Ignatius College Prep "clap in" welcome.
In the 48 months since, you've learned and you've grown...a lot:
In your Faith.
In your knowledge and ability.
In your life experience.
Often you've succeeded. Sometimes you've failed. But you kept going.
Teachers, coaches, retreat leaders and counselors have guided you as you've walked the path to adulthood. Along the way you've made friends who are now part of your forever Pack. We look forward to the time you come back to 1076 West Roosevelt Road to celebrate those friendships, and to talk about where life's great journey has taken you. But we're getting ahead of ourselves.
Today we get to clap you out. What a privilege it's been to work with you, to know you, to learn from you and to see you embrace our Grad at Grad values. As you make your way into the world, those values will serve you and others well.
Speaking of "Next"...here's a glimpse at the Final College Report for the Class of 2023:
20% of the 370 students are attending Jesuit Colleges
30% are attending Catholic colleges
14% are attending in-state colleges
86% are attending out-of-state colleges
99% are attending a four-year school in the United States
1% will exercise the option of taking a gap year
Seniors, you have so much to be proud of - Job well done...almost. We'll see you at graduation!
