Wolfpack Shutout Friars

The Wolfpack earned a 1-0 victory over the Friars of Fenwick in a thrilling battle from start to finish. In the first half our offense dominated possession behind the aggressive play of Annika Patel and the rest of the forward line who continued to push the attack. Tied 0-0 at halftime, the Pack continued the hunt for a goal until a penalty was called in the box. Abby Hernandez calmly launched the ball to the upper right corner for the winning goal. Goalkeeper Meghan Krayer made the save of the game to preserve the shutout. But it was the way the defensive line played together as a unit that limited the opposition’s chances. Sarah Sandoval, Sela Nass, Clare Sheehan and especially Sophia Steuer played a near flawless game to help preserve the win.
