Pack Edged at Friar Invite

The Wolfpack were runner-ups at the Friar Invitational being edged by Lyons 302-292. Freshman Nai’a Hernandez won the 200 freestyle with Junior Isabella Curiel, Freshman Camille Moroney, and Freshman Micaela Cota picking up fourth, seventh, and eighth. Freshman Sofia Medina followed suit and won the 200 IM with Senior Caroline Welch and Freshman Dia Sankar scoring fourth and sixth. Sophomore Maggie Dirlam placed fifth in the 50 freestyle. Welch, Medina, and Sankar picked up fourth through sixth in the 100 butterfly. Moroney, Curiel, and Dirlam followed suit in the 100 freestyle, scoring fourth through sixth. Junior Isabella Hobson, Sophomore Naomi Schubkegel, and Junior Sasha Weffer were third, fifth, and sixth in the 100 backstroke. Hernandez finished off the individual events in fifth in the 100 breaststroke. Saint Ignatius was fifth in the 200 medley relay and third both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
