Hope Speed Foils Pack

The Wolfpack held a very fast Hope team scoreless for three quarters before a few late breakdowns allowed the hosts to rally for a 12–6 win. The Pack’s inexperience showed in the fourth quarter, but the game will serve as a valuable learning experience. Defensively, Rebecca Carreto, Clara Ditsch, Annika Patel, and Tori Scott swarmed throughout, combining for numerous flag pulls, four sacks, and two interceptions. On offense, Emmi Kraft rushed for more than 125 yards, including a long touchdown run in the 2nd Quarter, while Morgan Rothgery proved effective both protecting the quarterback and making tough catches in traffic. The Wolfpack (5–5) return to action Wednesday afternoon at Fornelli in a home triangular against Rosary and DePaul.
