We Won an Emmy! Countdown Chicago 2025
We are thrilled to announce that Countdown Chicago won an Emmy!
Last year, ABC7 Chicago hosted their annual New Year’s Eve countdown video at Saint Ignatius College Prep.
The crew shot at Fornelli Field, Foglia Library and Tully Hall and used dozens of Saint Ignatius students and faculty as extras in the production (including a special comedic cameo from John Chandler!)
This week, Countdown Chicago 2025 won the Chicago/Midwest Emmy for Outstanding Achievement for Special Event Coverage.
This accomplishment would not have been possible without the talents and dedication that our students and faculty put into the production. Thank you to the crew at ABC7 who gave us the opportunity to showcase our campus to all of Chicagoland.
