Ignatius played a competitive match against Lyons Townships in which three goals were scored of completely different character. After a 0-0 first half in which both teams squandered chances, the Wolfpack scored first, when Sarah McDonald was taken down in the box for a penalty kick, which was successfully converted by Sarah Reed. Lyons Township scored an equalizer later in the half on a well-struck ball from the right side of the box. As time was winding down, with both sides pressing for the go-ahead goal, LT charged forward and with 3 seconds remaining managed to net the go ahead goal, for a 2-1 victory.
