The Wolfpack lost a competitive match to Hinsdale Central on Thursday by a final score of 3-2. Hinsdale leapt to an early lead with a crossing ball that arced over the keeper into the back of the night. They scored again just before halftime on a similar crossing ball. In the second half, Ignatius got one back when Skylar Gilbertson sprinted past a defender to steal the ball and put it in the net. The Red Devils answered with another arcing ball that beat the keeper coming off her line. The Wolfpack made it close again with 3 minutes left when Adriana Parial lofted a free kick just outside the box and Sienna Rezza headed it in for goal number two. Julia Schwartz and Camille Moroney played outstanding defense matching the physicality of their opponents.
