The Wolfpack split their opening games on Friday, falling 12-2 to Creighton Prep and defeating St. Dominic 6-1, to open their tournament in St. Louis. In game one, Jaiden Ponce provided the lone highlight with a 2-Run homerun for the Pack. In game two the Pack used a five run 5th as J. P. Rydz bunt single (RBI) broke 1-1 tie to provide the spark. Mick Crowley followed with an RBI single, Oscar Molloy followed with a two-run single, and Jacob Jelinek (two hits on the day) followed with an RBI triple. Cam Andrews threw three shutout innings in relief for the win while Colin Giles started, throwing four innings with one run and six strikeouts.
