The Wolfpack fell to visiting Lane Tech by a score of 1-0. In a game that showed great improvement over the first game of the season, the team played a more controlled, possession-based style, creating several quality chances on goal including two dangerous free kicks. The midfield played with poise and the defense played as a unit behind the two Georges (Scott and Mikulaninec). Keeper Henry Zalewski made several important saves. Kiran Bodde, Miguel Arias and Jack Lemond added important minutes off the bench. Lane Tech broke through late in the second half to score the go ahead goal.
