Setting the tone for the match were the Wolfpack #1 (Sophie Espaldon and  CG Smith) and #3  (Elle Carlson and  Leana Phocas) doubles teams, who each dominated their matches, dropping just one game apiece in 6-0, 6-1 victories. At #1 singles, Kate Gibble, also delivered a strong performance, cruising through the first set 6-0 before fighting off a second-set rally from her opponent to secure a 6-0, 6-3 victory.
