The Wolfpack had a solid showing against Stevenson and New Trier at the annual Tri-Meet of the Century. Ignatius fell to New Trier 129-57 and Stevenson 123-63 with the team being split between two locations, swimming at Stevenson and diving at New Trier. Junior Knox Kruk won the diving competition with a score of 238.60. Freshman Molly Wideikis and Senior Mariposa Arroyo were third and seventh in the 200 freestyle. Wideikis’s 1:54.68 final time moved her to #8 all-time performer in school history, her first time in the top-10 list. Senior Captain Livia Cremer won the 200 IM with an epic closing freestyle split. Junior Greta Mikulaninec scored seventh in the 50 freestyle. Junior Alexis Ambrosino surged her way to second place in the 100 fly. She also made the top-10 list for the first time with a final time of 58.33 to move to #9 all-time performer in school history. Wideikis, Mikulaninec, and Senior Kennedy Riley picked up third, seventh, and eighth in the 100 freestyle. Cremer won the 500 freestyle with Arroyo scoring sixth overall. Sophomore Sam Mondrus and Senior Captain Chayse Massimino were sixth and eighth in the 100 backstroke with season-best times. The Wolfpack Relays scored fourth in the 200 medley and 200 free and fifth in the 400 free relays.
