We are delighted to share that Martin Cabrera, recently received the Rerum Novarum Award for Business on Thursday, October 29, at Mundelein Seminary’s annual Seminary Salutes to Labor, Business, and Government.

Presented each year by the Cardinal, the award honors lay men and women whose work puts Catholic Social Teaching into action. It takes its name from Pope Leo XIII’s 1891 encyclical, and celebrates those who uphold the dignity of every person, the value of human work and the right to a living wage.

Martin’s leadership has long shaped the life of Saint Ignatius, and this honor reflects the same commitment to the common good and the Magis that he has brought to our board.
