SAINT IGNATIUS LATIN DAYS

Come join us for a day of fun and games as you learn about the ancient world of the Greeks and
Romans. Hear about the rich tradition of Latin and Greek at Chicago’s oldest Jesuit high school. Meet current Latin students and faculty and tour the historic 1869 building. Open to current 6th, 7th and, 8th grade students. For more information, please contact: Mr. Matt Sparapani, Latin Teacher.
Activities include:
• Certamen (Latin trivia)
• Catapult Wars
• Myth Reenactments
• Toga Fashion Contest
• Olympic Games
• Chariot Race
Includes continental breakfast, pizza lunch, and t-shirt for prospective students. Parents are encouraged to attend a brief Q&A session and tour in the morning. This event is free. Registration required.
