REMEMBERING SISTER ROSEMARY CONNELLY

Kristyn Hartman
People around Chicago are remembering Sister Rosemary Connelly, who passed away yesterday at the age of 94.
Sister Rosemary was a force who redefined how this city cared for children with developmental challenges. She was their fiercest, most hard-working advocate, and because of her efforts, many young lives changed for the better.

John Chandler, Saint Ignatius College Prep President, said, "Our Lord and Blessed Mother have welcomed into heaven a living saint -- a woman who dedicated her life to the marginalized and forgotten, and who reminds all of us about the important commitment to service and care that sometimes is so missing in our world."

We share this picture with you because it shows the joy Sister Rosemary brought to life. We also share this article from the Chicago SunTimes, with the hope you'll take a moment to learn more about the difference Sister Rosemary made in this world.
