Bodden '26 Awarded Grit Scholarship to Creighton

The scholarship recognizes students who “embody relentless determination and perseverance in the face of challenges” and offers monthly events focusing on personal, professional and spiritual growth in the Jesuit spirit of cura personalis.

“Continuing my education at a Jesuit institution like Creighton means being part of a community that values both academic excellence and service to others,” Aqil shared. “With this opportunity I want to grow, mentor others and use my education to make a positive impact.”

Reflecting on his experience at Saint Ignatius, Aqil stated, "My Saint Ignatius education taught me to think critically, reflect on my experiences and lead with compassion. Those values prepared me to take on new challenges and make the most of opportunities like continuing my studies at Creighton.”
