Sweltering Pack Push Through in Peoria

The Wolfpack took on the sweltering conditions in Peoria this past weekend at the First to the Finish Invitational, with temperatures climbing to 91 degrees on Saturday afternoon on the historic Detweiller Park course. Senior Ethan Petrillo led the charge for the Pack, battling through the heat to a team finish of 25th overall. He was joined in the scoring by junior Brandon Houlihan, senior Aidan Tansor, junior Michael Gaffey, and freshman Alrik Swan, who all turned in tough performances under challenging conditions. Senior Zach Tan, along with freshmen Teddy Lynch, Edward Maley, Joseph Horos, and senior Mohammad Khalil, rounded out the varsity effort, giving the team valuable depth and experience heading into the heart of the season.
