Saint Ignatius Boys Swimming and Diving placed ninth in the team standings at the 2026 IHSA State Championships at FMC Natatorium in Westmont. Junior Connor Gunderson became the first state diving medalist in Saint Ignatius history with his 13th-place finish in the 1m diving competition. The 200 Medley Relay team of Junior Lincoln Routier, Sophomore Andrew Arreola, Freshman Grant Robinson, and Junior Christian Chora placed thirty-seventh overall. Senior Captain Carmine Fallara placed thirtieth in the 200 IM and twenty-seventh in the 100 breaststroke. Arreola placed number forty overall in the 100 freestyle. In the 200 freestyle, Junior Charlie Cali placed thirteenth, and Senior Captain Alistair Guth placed fourth overall. Cali later went on to place tenth in the 500 freestyle. Sophomore Danny Scott won the consultation final for ninth in the 50 freestyle. Robinson joined Scott in the 100 butterfly shortly after to place sixteenth and eleventh overall. Scott reset his 100 butterfly fresh-soph record in both prelims and finals. 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Fallara, Guth, Scott, and Cali placed eighth overall. 400 freestyle relay team of Cali, Guth, Fallara, and Scott placed fifth and broke the school record to close the meet.
